The club is busy preparing for the forthcoming season with match dates being agreed, social events being arranged, and planning in progress for the club’s centenary in 2023.
Please note the following dates in your diary:
- POSTPONED Friday 25th February – Soup and Pud in the clubhouse 12 – 2 pm
- Friday 25th March – Ladies and Men’s Spring Meetings (times to be advised)
- Thursday 7th and Friday 8th April – Working parties to prepare for the club opening
- Wednesday 13th April – Green opens for play
The provisional match fixture list is now available, although this may be subject to change.
2023 Centenary
2023 sees the club’s centenary with a number of events being arranged. Dates we are able to advise at the moment are:
- 31 May 2023 – Centenary game against Bowls Dorset President’s team
- Wed 28th June to Sat 1th July – Centenary Tour to the Portsmouth area staying at the Holiday Inn Hotel and featuring matches against local clubs

Club Quiz
The recent club quiz was extremely well attended with everyone enjoying the varied and often challenging rounds. The Quiz raised £136 plus profits from the bar.
