The club is open to the public on Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th for free taster days for anyone to come along and try their hand at bowling. If you fancy giving bowling a try then just turn up between 11am and 2pm. There will be all sizes of bowls available and you will soon get going with our expert guidance. Bridport Bowling Club is a thriving friendly outdoor bowls club now over 100 years old in beautiful West Dorset, less than two miles from the Sea. The club is within a 5 minute walk of the bustling town centre of Bridport with its extensive range of independent shops, cafes and restaurants, and thriving Wednesday and Saturday markets.
The club competes in a number of county leagues and national competitions, as well as having a comprehensive schedule of club games, club competitions and friendly games against other local clubs and touring sides.
For touring sides Bridport Bowls club provides an excellent venue, with a maximum of eight rinks and a large clubhouse with bar and full kitchen. With shops and entertainment within easy walking distance there is also lots for non-bowlers to do.
