    The new date for this competition is now 11 August, previously it was 10 June.   • News Week commencing 5th September
    Bridport were away to Portland Victoria for a rearranged game on Monday. No sooner had they started when the thunderstorm hit. All players were totally soaked before they could get under cover and the game was abandoned.   • Bridport Men triumph in the Baker Cup
    Bridport men recently beat Dorchester to win the South Dorset Bowling League Baker Cup. Bridport won on two of the three rinks.
